Derby NASUWT General Meeting – 9th October 2008
You are cordially invited to the next General Meeting of Derby NASUWT Branch which will be held on Thursday 9th October 2008 in the Function Room at the Spa Inne, Abbey Street, Derby, beginning at 4:30pm (just off Burton Road). There is ample free parking at the pub. However, if you have to park in the paying car park at the city centre end of Abbey Street, parking charges will be reimbursed. Travelling expenses will be reimbursed at 40p per mile or reasonable public transport rates. NASUWT will also pay carer expenses to enable you to attend this meeting if appropriate – please contact me to discuss this beforehand if this applies to you. The meeting will finish no later than 6:30pm and will include a twenty minute refreshment interval. Any members who wish are welcome to stay behind after the meeting for a drink with branch officers.
The meeting will focus on two main issues – Changes in school status (Strategy for Change 2) and Derby City Council Pupil Performance Data.
A free bar and buffet will be in operation at the meeting. The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
